Poland
Poland, Europe's leading apple producer, often starts the day with apple pancakes called racuszki. Our Polish breakfast pairs them with placki, pan-fried grated-potato pancakes; twaróg, a refreshing white cheese mixed with radish and spring onion; kiełbasa sausage; and scrambled eggs with tomato. We also offered the classic sour soup żurek, traditional pierogi dumplings, grain coffee, herbata (tea) and sernik cheesecake, along with other Polish sides, desserts and drinks.
Poland, in Central Europe, is often called the Heart of Europe, forming a geographical and cultural bridge between east and west. Influences from neighboring Germany, Hungary, Ukraine and the Czech Republic have helped shape its varied food culture.
